Braintree American 25/26 Winter Update
What a Year 2025 was! Congratulations to our 2025 New England Regional Champion and Little League World Series participant 12A Team on an incredible summer! Congratulations to all of our Spring season champions and other Summer teams that had tremendously successful seasons. While baseball seems like it is months away, we wanted to let you know of our plans for the 2026 season. Clean-up day and that first practice will be here before you know it! We are all looking forward to the 2026 season.
Prep League
Looking forward to our second season! We will be accepting 4 & 5 year old children into an introduction to baseball program. The program will run on Saturdays at noon throughout the season. The program will be focused on introducing the concepts of baseball in a less formal setting.
Registration
Registration is open. Please visit our website, www.braintreeamerican.org, to register for the 2026 spring season. A flyer will be sent to the schools as well. Prices will remain the same:
PREP League (4&5 year old)………..…………$50
TBALL (6 & 7)….………………………………...$150
AA (8 & 9) ………………………………………..$200
Majors & AAA (10 to 12 Year old)……….……. $200
We ask you to sign up your players early to help us prepare for the season.
Pre-Season Clinic
Once again, we will be sponsoring our annual preseason clinic, helping players ages 8-12 years old prepare for another season of baseball. The cost of the clinic is a very reasonable $75 and includes three days of instruction, a clinic T-shirt and lunch on the final day. The clinic is always looking for volunteers to help out and we will circulate a sign-up sheet in March and April if you are interested. The clinic will be held the week of April vacation, April 21-23, 2026. The clinic is a great way to prepare for the season.
Complex Improvements
In our ongoing pursuit of making Hollingsworth Park the best youth baseball complex on the South Shore, you will notice several new improvements when you arrive for the 2026 season.
We plan to recondition the infield diamond on Brooks Field. This field is used by all divisions and will look great on opening day!
Parental Involvement
We have enjoyed a remarkably successful program for many years with the help of many volunteers who provide tireless efforts in both operating and administering the League. We are always looking for new people to help out. If you are interested in helping out by coaching or in some other capacity, we are always looking for good people who like to work. Please contact any Board member or email [email protected] if you are interested in helping out. Be on the lookout for our cleanup dates in March of 2026 to get the park ready!
